Many tours just stop for a quick photo, but we ensure you will have time for a walk along the paths above the cliffs, offering unrivalled coastal views of the English Channel, and you can even see the outline of France 26 miles away on a clear day!
We then offer you a choice: spend longer at the coast and take a beautiful walk along the paths provided by the National Trust OR we will drop you to Dover Castle for an optional visit to this amazing castle which was so important in British history! (fee not included)
We arrive at Canterbury City and begin with a short walking tour! You will have free-time for lunch if you wish, and ample time to explore this historic city. Lovely medieval buildings and small charming streets give this city a unique atmosphere.
Your guide will be happy to recommend nice places to eat and drink! Consider a visit to the world-famous Canterbury Cathedral (not included) where Cathedral guides are on hand to point out the stunning features of this magnificent site. Or enjoy some more time exploring this historic city!
