Visit 2 Historic World UNESCO Sites in One Day!

Join our Stonehenge and Bath Full Day Guided Tour! Visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites in one day, with the magnificent neolithic monument Stonehenge in the morning and the stunning Georgian city of Bath in the afternoon. Enjoy a fully guided tour, with interesting commentary from your expert guide as you travel through the gorgeous English countryside.

Stonehenge

Our first stop is the stunning neolithic monument of Stonehenge, a must for history-lovers. Constructed during the Neolithic period by Stone Age farmers, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a place of cultural importance and structural beauty. Beat the crowds with an early departure from London, ride in comfort as your guide introduces the fascinating history of the prehistoric landscape and people, then you will be free to explore the site.

Your ticket grants you entry to the monument, on-site shuttle bus, visitor centre and exhibition. There is also a cafe, a gift shop and toilet at the visitor centre. English Heritage WiFi is available on site. Upon arrival, take the shuttle bus directly to the stones to beat the crowds. You can then use it to return to the visitor centre.

We recommend downloading the audio guide app, available for free in thirteen languages. Learn more about the fascinating history of the monument and its builders as you marvel at the stones and discover the artefacts in the exhibition.

After we depart from Stonehenge, we travel through some of the most beautiful countryside in England and several small traditional villages. Your guide will tell you about the landscape, nearby cities, and stories about life in England. Our drivers know some beautiful roads with great views and will make sure you enjoy the journey.

Bath

Our next stop is the city of Bath, unmissable on any trip to England. We offer a complimentary walking tour of Bath, which was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1987. The city was founded in the first century AD by the Romans, who built a public baths complex using the natural hot springs. The iconic Roman Baths Museum is a hugely popular tourist attraction, from which the city got its name.

Visitors to Bath are sure to be impressed by the grand buildings of the city. Bath Abbey is the gem in the heart of the city, surrounded by beautiful streets of grand Georgian houses intersected by crescents and squares. This immaculate Georgian architecture has made Bath a popular filming location for Regency-era dramas, including the Netflix romance series Bridgerton. Your guide will point out various film locations on the walking tour.

Other popular locations include Pulteney Bridge over the lovely River Avon, the Guildhall Market with its many independent shops perfect for buying souvenirs, and the Royal Crescent, a semi-circle of stunning architecture with the best viewpoint out over the city. For literature lovers, you may choose to visit the Jane Austen Centre, or Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein Museum.

Bath offers something for everyone, and our relaxed itinerary offers about 2.5 hours to enjoy the city. You may wish to spend some time having lunch, or our guide will suggest “on the go” options to allow you more time for sightseeing! Whatever you choose to do, you will have an amazing time in Bath!

Great day at the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford on Avon. Tour guide James was very informative, interesting and definitely not boring. Bus driver Marius was fantastic and also entertaining.

I took the Stonehenge and Bath tour. It was perfect, Rosie was so nice, and she explained everything so well because she actually lived there in Bath, so she knew interested facts about everything. I totally recommend it.

This half-day trip was great. It was nice to be able to arrive at the site right as it was opening. Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the bus ride was very comfortable. It was the right amount of time to spend at Stonehenge.
